I have in many years used several GNU/Linux flavors.

At work I have used M$ Windows, Mac, Sun Solaris and Novell Netware.

The last years I have been taking care of many sorts of computers and I can see that Linux is more and more in use.
What distro is best? I don't really know, all of them have their ups and downs.. I prefer to use Gnome as my GUI, but KDE is also very nice. I have several computers running desktop editions and some servers. The last year I have been using Ubuntu on my main laptop. I also have an Ibm x41 running with OpenSuSe.  My home network runs mainly on OpenSource, but there are 3 machines running XP, 2 with Vista and 3 OSX. My network is buildt up with a Linux firewall connected to a 24p Cisco Switch. Some small switches around connecting phones and Wireless APs to. A quick count I think it's 25-30 machines running daily. The speed on my broadband is 20MB up/down. (later this summer 50/50MB).

I usually meet up with some guys at a gathering twice a month. Some will say we are a bunch of geeks, and that's allright!
